Koda Staff collects and uses personal data relating to its candidates and clients to manage the employment/recruitment process. Koda Staff is committed to being transparent about how it collects and uses that data, and to meeting its data protection obligations.

Information we collect

Your information will be shared internally among Koda Staff employees if access to the data is necessary for performance of their roles.

They may also share your data with third parties in order to obtain pre-employment references from previous employers, obtain employment background checks from third-party providers and obtain necessary criminal records checks from the Disclosure and Barring Service. In this event we will contact you for you to give prior consent.

The organisation will not transfer your data to countries outside the European Economic Area. Please note that we will not provide the following types of information in response to a data access request: Information about other people; Opinions given in confidence; Repeat requests or privileged information. Other types of information may also be exempt under data protection laws (e.g. data relating to the commission of offences or estimates of damages).

In order to receive this information, we will need verification of your identity and will apply a small fee to cover the administration cost of preparing and sending this information.
