We’re looking for a Senior Business Data Engineer to join a Commercial & Customer Intelligence team focused on delivering reliable, high-quality data that drives smarter decisions. You’ll work at the intersection of business and technology, enabling data scientists and BI experts with robust, scalable data solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and build data pipelines to collect, store, and process large volumes of data

• Develop and maintain data solutions across on-premises (Oracle) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

• Prepare, structure, and validate data for data scientists and Tableau experts

• Capture data requirements and define clear acceptance criteria

• Orchestrate and optimize batch processes using (meta)pipelines

• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data flows

• Document architectures, pipelines, and technical decisions

What You’ll Bring:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar data engineering role

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL

• Experience with ETL tools such as Kubeflow, Pentaho, or similar

• Solid knowledge of modern data warehousing and data modelling

• Hands-on experience with DBMS platforms like Redshift, Azure SQL, or Synapse

• Fluent Dutch and good working knowledge of English
