Koda Staff is working exclusively with GAMING1 to hire a Platform Engineer (Developer Experience) to join the Developer Experience team within Platform Engineering.

This role focuses on internal developer tooling — building platforms, APIs, and golden paths that make the right way the easy way for Product Engineering teams.

The Opportunity

You will own and evolve internal tooling such as scaffolding tools, CLIs, templates, and platform APIs that enable engineers to deliver faster, with less friction and more consistency.

This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, platform thinking, and developer enablement.

Your Mission

• Build and evolve internal developer tooling used across Product Engineering

• Enable fast, consistent delivery through golden paths and self-service tooling

• Improve developer experience, quality, and consistency at scale

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve existing internal tooling and platform APIs

• Design and build new developer-facing tools as needs emerge

• Compose reusable building blocks into cohesive developer workflows

• Ensure tooling aligns with the .NET ecosystem

• Raise standards through code quality, testing, and documentation

• Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to gather feedback

Experience & Skills

• 5+ years as a Senior Software Engineer or Platform Engineer

• Strong expertise in .NET and internal tooling development

• Experience building CLIs, templates, or developer utilities

• Solid software engineering fundamentals (testing, CI/CD, quality)

• Interest in Python, developer portals, and Kubernetes workflows

• Product-oriented mindset with engineers as customers

• Fluent in English (French is a plus)
