Job details

Our client is a boutique consultancy working where business, data, technology and AI meet. Their mission is to help companies build scalable, actionable AI solutions grounded in solid data that drive efficiency, automation and growth. Consultants embed directly into client teams to improve margins, streamline operations, automate manual tasks and build the data foundations for next-generation decision-making.

The role
As a Senior Analytics Engineer Consultant, you will play a key role in defining, building and delivering high-impact data and analytics solutions for clients. You will span discovery, solution design and hands-on implementation of data platforms, pipelines, models and dashboards. Your work will be directly tied to business outcomes and you will be a trusted advisor on how data and AI can create value.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business challenges, scope requirements and identify opportunities where data and AI can genuinely move the needle.

  • Lead analytics engineering engagements from initial scoping through implementation to value realisation.

  • Design, build and maintain modern data platforms including warehousing, transformation and modelling layers.

  • Develop robust data pipelines and business?critical data models, and expose them through clear dashboards and visualisations.

  • Champion best practices and contribute to a strong learning culture by sharing knowledge on tools, methods and patterns in data and AI.

Candidate profile

Must-have

  • Based in Copenhagen or within reasonable driving distance (or genuinely willing to relocate).

  • 2–7 years of experience in a data-focused role (analytics engineer, data engineer, BI developer or similar).

  • Proven experience with SQL, Python and dbt.

  • Experience with at least one of: Snowflake, BigQuery or Databricks (or a similar modern cloud data platform).

  • Strong understanding of data modelling and data warehousing best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI or Steep.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, business acumen and proactive communication.

  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a dynamic consulting environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Looker and LookML.

  • Familiarity with AI and automation frameworks.

  • Danish language skills (a plus, not a requirement).

What’s on offer

  • Competitive salary aligned with your experience and expertise.

  • Flexible setup - remote options or working from a vibrant Copenhagen office (lunch, snacks and good vibes included).

  • The chance to work and learn with a strong team of data engineers, analysts and AI specialists.

  • Regular team events, offsites and celebrations, with a culture that values both performance and fun.

  • A unique opportunity to influence the direction of a fast-scaling consultancy and see your work have real client impact.

  • A learning-driven environment that supports your development across both technical and business domains.
